Since coming to America, the only connection I had with friends and family at home was through one press of a smartphone icon - like peeking in on a different world. I felt like I'm dependent on these likes, comments, and favorites.
Through manipulating the shape of glass, I am able to express just how much this new social network barrier, that has now embedded itself into my daily life, is both addicting and frustrating.
